At 17, my journey into the world of marine biology is just beginning—but the ocean has already taught me so much. This blog is a space where I share what I’m learning, doing, and thinking as I explore the science, challenges, and beauty of life beneath the surface.
I’m Nylah, a high school student from Bangalore, India, with a deep passion for marine life, conservation, and storytelling. Though I live far from the coast, I’ve found ways to stay connected to the ocean—through hands-on projects, youth ambassador programs, and awareness work in my school and community.
